REGISTRATION IS OPEN for an Upcoming Online Class: ATHEOPAGANISM: The Cleric’s Path
I am happy to announce an online class on Zoom, entitled ATHEOPAGANISM: The Cleric’s Path. The class is in three segments on Sundays at 10 AM Pacific Time (so our European friends can join us), starting March 27, continuing on April 10 and finishing on April 24. Each segment is 90 minutes in length. You do not need to be an ordained Atheopagan cleric to take the course.
Tuition for the course is $75, and you can register and remit your tuition by clicking here. When paying, please be sure to write in the notes field “registration for cleric’s class”.
This course will cover all the skill and knowledge areas you need to be an effective Atheopagan cleric, including Atheopagan Principles and values, rites of passage, ritual design, pastoral counseling and more. Upon completion of the course you will receive a printable Certificate of Completion, which you may want to display alongside your ordination certificate.
Please register by March 20. A minimum of 10 students are needed for the class to go forward; if this does not occur, you will receive a full refund.
As a reminder, in order to become an Atheopagan cleric, all you have to do is go to The Atheopagan Society’s (TAPS) website (https://theAPSociety.org), click the ordination button and follow the directions to be ordained online. Fully legal in all 50 US states–I don’t know about requirements in other countries, sorry. There is no fee to be ordained as an Atheopagan cleric.
Being a cleric is a service role to the Atheopagan community and to humanity generally. There are resources emailed to you every month as a cleric in our Atheopagan Voice newsletter, and there is an Introductory Cleric’s Handbook downloadable from the TAPS site as well.
The class is a good overview of Atheopaganism whether you’re ordained or not, and there will be lots of Q&A time for help with your personal practice. I hope you will join us!
